I am an interactive communications specialist with expertise in strategic communication and web development.

I have garnered experience breaking down scientific and financial information for audiences ranging from C-suite executives to consumers through my media consulting business, ESF International LLC. Most recently, I worked with FutureFeed, the company tasked by the Australian government with commercializing Asparagopsis, a methane-reducing feed additive, to help them update their website and copy.

In addition to offering communications and design services for clients, I spent my college years working part-time as a researcher for the Center for Innovation and Sustainability for Local Media and communications specialist for the Data-Driven EnviroLab. I also spent one summer researching the Inflation Reduction Act for Hanesbrands.

This July, I earned my MA in Media and Communication with a focus in interactive design journalism, where I gained proficiency in generative AI prompt engineering and web development with JavaScript.

I also hold a B.A. in Economics and Environmental Studies from UNC, where I graduated with highest distinction and Phi Beta Kappa honors.

Alongside work and education, I am passionate about environmental sustainability and do my best to stay involved locally. I have worked on the Lake Oswego Sustainability Advisory Board, Chapel Hill Environmental Stewardship Advisory Board, and UNC student government to advance sustainable policies in my home and college towns.
